HOME TEAM FESTIVAL 2013! It’s Happening – Come Join Us !
Coming your way from 8 – 10 Nov 2013 at the Singapore EXPO Hall 4, the Home Team Festival promises 10,000 sqm of exciting, interactive and multi-sensory exhibits from across the Home Team. It will offer visitors a peek into the extraordinary work done by our officers, the latest state-of-the-art HT crime fighting weapons, a vehicle gallery comprising police, ambulance, firefighting, search and rescue vehicles and vessels, and many more!

You are invited to Home Team Festival 2013!

Coming your way from 8 – 10 Nov 2013 at the Singapore EXPO Hall 4, the Home Team Festival promises 10,000 sqm of exciting, interactive and multi-sensory exhibits from across the Home Team. It will offer visitors a peek into the extraordinary work done by our officers, the latest state-of-the-art HT crime fighting weapons, a vehicle gallery comprising police, ambulance, firefighting, search and rescue (land and sea!) vehicles and vessels, and many more!

This biennial Home Team Festival is also about celebrating the HT’s partnership with the community, including our schools and youths, to keep our homes safe and nation secured.

For this reason, we are very proud to have our schools and tertiary institutions jointly showcase their safety and security innovations at our flagship event! This year, 50 projects from 22 schools participating in the “Security Awareness For Everyone (SAFE) Challenge 2013” will be featured alongside the Home Team Departments!

Education and Inspiration for our Next Generation!

·         Educational information on the entire HT chain of protection systems to keep Singapore safe and secure – from border protection technologies to crime fighting, civil defence, drug prevention, and prisons rehabilitation;

·         Personal and community safety tips and knowledge – from fire safety tips, AED use, CPR guides and tremor drills, to emergency evacuation and ways in which public may help to combat terrorism and help others during crisis and disasters; and

·         Programmes and platforms to groom/inspire community ‘self-help’ activities amongst our young, including HT volunteering programmes and school ECA groups such as Lionhearters’ Club, NPCC and NCDCC.

Family, Fun and Enjoyment!

·         Fun-packed and adrenaline-pumping activities such as a live-firing range, rockwall climbing, para-jumping and opportunities to meet and rub shoulders with the local soccer team members of the Home United Football Club;

·         Exclusive HT performances including HT operational displays and HT canine “friends” from the SCDF and SPF’s K-9 Unit (such as search/rescue dogs and explosive/drug-detection dogs); and

·         HT souvenirs and Special Edition Goodie Bags
